Often referred to as “People of the Plains”, the Comanche are related to the Shoshone tribe, and eventually separated and moved on from the northern plains to places like Nebraska, Texas and Oklahoma. Performing dances like the Fancy Shawl Dance, are just one way that the Comanche continue to celebrate their culture today.
